Your guide will meet you at your accommodation in the morning before driving approximately 40 minutes to Batu Katak, a peaceful village on the edge of the rainforest. From there, you’ll begin your jungle walk together with a local guide, who knows exactly where the giant flowers are currently in bloom. Along the trail, you’ll explore untouched rainforest, cross small streams, and, if you’re lucky, spot siamangs, white-handed gibbons, and other wildlife. Your destination is the incredible Titan Arum or Rafflesia, two of the world’s largest and rarest flowers that only bloom for a few days each year. Seeing one of these extraordinary plants in bloom is a truly unforgettable experience.Â
