Our guides will choose routes away from the busiest trails, allowing you to experience the jungle in a more natural and undisturbed way. Throughout the day, you’ll search for wildlife, enjoy lunch in the jungle, and learn about the rainforest from our guides who know it like their home.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Your adventure begins at 8:00 AM when your local certified guides pick you up from your accommodation in Bukit Lawang. After a short briefing, you will head into the lush rainforest of Gunung Leuser National Park, ready for a full day of exploration in one of the world’s most biodiverse jungles.
Throughout the day, you will trek deeper into the forest than on shorter tours, following quiet trails chosen by your guides to avoid the main tourist routes. Keep your eyes open for orangutans, gibbons, hornbills, and other wildlife while learning about the rainforest ecosystem directly from your guide.
Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch and tropical fruits in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by the sounds of nature. After a full day of trekking, you will make your way down towards the Bohorok River.
To finish the experience, you can choose to float back to the village on a traditional tubing ride or walk back through the forest at a relaxed pace. In both cases, your guides will accompany you safely back to your accommodation in Bukit Lawang.
