tour description

DAY 1

We will pick you up at the Kualanamu airport or hotel in Medan, it takes 4 hours by our conditioning car to reach Bukit Lawang(Our driver is licensed and experienced.). After check in at the hotel, at 8 o’clock after dinner there will be an introduction session with the local guide and the trekking plan, preparation is very importan

day 2

Jungle trekking starts at 7 AM (The start time of the trek may be adjusted to accommodate delays or jet lag) after breakfast, we will move to the national park gate in about 30 minutes from hotel passing through local community plantations. Trekking duration on first day is 6 to 7 hour depends on the weather and fatigue factors, the altitude may reach 200 to 400 above sea level.
The trekking path goes up and down the hills

Imagine encountering orangutans as they swing on lianas; the orange color of the orangutans among the green leaves will mesmerize you, possibly also encounters with several types of monkeys such as macaques, langurs or gibbons, and birds like hornbills and peacocks(Remember, this is wild life, it’s not always easy to find them)

We will have lunch in the jungle, it’s very unique, we call it the “jungle restaurant”, lunch under the forest canopy and giant trees with the sounds of animals, There are also tropical fruits as a dessert(maybe there are some fruits you have never seen before)

We will arrive at the campsite around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, Located in a valley and near a small river, we can relax and enjoy nature with a cup of tea or coffee, The river water is very clean, maybe you can take a dip

Dinner will begin when it gets dark, between 6 and 7 PM. If it doesn’t rain, an outdoor dinner will be very memorable and romantic, with only candles and stars, and maybe fireflies will fly around us. Our jungle chef will serve traditional food cooked in a tent, perhaps chicken rendang, curry, and others. After dinner, maybe we can share experiences and enjoy the peaceful night of the jungle, or go to sleep. We have prepared sleeping mats, blankets, and mosquito nets.

And believe me, the jungle never sleeps; your sleep will be accompanied by the sounds of nocturnal animals unfamiliar to your ears, just enjoy it

day 3

The trekking duration on the second day is 3 to 4 hours, we will move to the Bohorok River and start after breakfast

Anything can happen in the wild; if we’re lucky, we might still encounter orangutans and other animals on the second day trekking

After arriving at the river, we can swim before the traditional rafting; the river is quite deep and clean. After packing, we will raft down to the hotel, it’s take 30 minutes until hotel, We will arrive at the hotel at 2 or 3 in the afternoon

day 4

Starting at 8 a.m. after breakfast, we will drive by car to Batu Katak, 45 minutes from Bukit Lawang, Batu Katak is a neighboring village to Bukit Lawang that is also an exotic place; several caves are very challenging for cave adventure enthusiasts. If we’re lucky on the way to the cave, we can see the world’s tallest flower, Amorphophallus titanum, which does not bloom all the time. It’s take 30 minute walk from the village to the cave entrance passing through local community plantations

The cave exploration will take approximately 3 hours, including lunch. In the afternoon at 3 or 4 o’clock we will drive to the hotel in Bukit Lawang

day 5

The tour ends drop-off to Medan or Kualanamu airport. Our driver can take you from the morning until maximum of 2 PM
